I always liked this rack:
Why? Because it reminds me of the one on which Tyrone Power is stretched in the 1942 pirate romp "The Black Swan" (not to be confused with the more recent saphic romp of the same name). It seems appropriate to torture a pirate on a rack that looks like ship's rigging.
I remember seeing that film on TV when I was young and later imagining Young's co-star, Maureen O'Hara in the same situation.
