A Bloody Job....

Go to CruxDreams.com
Not just any elfgirl...it's Erin the elfgirl warrior who helped bring Rome to it's knees...so tread lightly!!!!

I meant no disrespect, O Elfwarriormaiden. Greatest deference shown, I assure you, especially if we are both working to keep Barbaria out of trouble (a full time job, as I understand it, edging on impossible). :rolleyes::D

As to treading lightly, that might be difficult. Barbarian chieftains are not known for their delicate graceful carriage.:cool:

They sank down on their bleeding knees
As Siss called out “Oh Noo! Wragg! Please!
“Please spare us from this torture grim!”
I answered, with a wicked grin,

“You know I’d love to let you go
“But you and I, we do both know
“That if I let you girls go free
“They’ll crucify Pp and me!”

We roughly took the beam from her
She knew then what would soon occur
We formed those crosses on the ground
Then stood her up, and turned her round.

We laid her on her cross of wood
She looked so splendid in the nude
The watching crowd just stood and sighed
We took her arms, and spread them wide.

The soldiers held her arms in place
She looked at me, then turned her face;
I touched the nail onto her wrist
I saw she had a tight-clenched fist.

I looked upon her golden hair
Then raised my hammer in the air;
My face set in determined frown
I brought that hammer crashing down.

I felt the nail crunch through her bone
No sound she made, save one small groan
But though she did not much complain
I watched her body arch with pain.

But as I nailed that girl in place
And saw the pain etched in her face -
I did not feel so proud at all
In fact I felt two inches tall.

The courage shown by tortured Siss!
No man was e’er as brave as this!
They’d shout and scream and cry and wail
At ev’ry stroke on ev’ry nail.

Ere long, four nails, all driven home
Four bloody wounds in shattered bone.
We raised her halfway to the sky
And there she hung to wait to die.

Poor Barb and Roxie, teary eyed
Had watched as Siss was crucified;
“I’m next!” said Barb, “It’s only fair!”
“You wait your turn!” I growled at her.

So Barb could only stand and cry
As Roxie was prepared to die;
And she could just watch helplessly
As they stretched out her arms for me.

Roxie saw Barb, then looked at Siss
“Please! Let me go! I can’t do this!”
I heard the terror in her voice
But knew she did not have that choice.

“Roxie! Be brave!” Siss, in her pain
Called from her cross, and then again,
“It won’t take long, just wait and see
“And then you’ll be up here with me!”

I gave no time for her reply
Before I let that hammer fly,
Nailed through her wrist into the beam
And heard her tortured, anguished scream:

“Oh God! OH NO! OH PLEASE! NO! NO!
“It hurts so much! Please let me go!”
I ground my teeth, and struck again
And watched that poor girl thrash in pain.

Said watching Barb, “You bastard, you!”
And Siss, above, was weeping too,
Roxie, a girl of tender years
Had almost brought Pp to tears!

But I’m a slave! What could I do?
If I wimped out, they’d nail me, too!
Pretending I could give a toss
I nailed that woman to her cross.

She howled, as she was crucified;
She rolled her head from side to side;
We raised her cross, that hurt her more,
She wept and writhed, and wailed, and swore.

I looked around for Barb, the ‘queen’,
But she was nowhere to be seen.
Then I was at a total loss –
She’d stretched herself upon her cross!

No one ever accused me of lacking enthusiasm :p

A great restyling of Clement Clarke Moore.

Bravo!

Sorry I was so late in noticing!

Better late than never ....

always cheerful, isn't she? :rolleyes::p

Roxie, a girl of tender years
Had almost brought Pp to tears?

Pp in tears! No Wragg, you fool,
His tongue is out, his chin all drool,
First he'ed whipped them 'til they jerked
Pp enjoyed his day of work.

He walked around each wooden post,
Looked at his work, could proudly boast,
Those stripes laid neat upon each back,
The trickled blood a bright red track.

Upon the nails loud hammers clanged,
And now their naked bodies hanged,
Upon each cross for all to see,
In Pp's thoughts so heavenly.

He gazed at each upon her cross,
Above bared breasts, two heads still toss,
The blonde-haired Siss, young roxie tagged,
Still on the ground, dark Barb, head sagged.

I'd hoped that might goad Pp into new heights of creativity! :)

Uh oh, my turn :p

Ohhhh, yes, indeed!! :)

Now, this was something new to me
She’d seen the cross’s cruelty!
Could she – who’d seen those awful sights
Lay on her cross without a fight?

She brushed aside her raven hair
She then resumed just laying there;
I gaped at her, then heard her say
“Well come on, man! Don’t take all day!”

I stood astride her body, slim
She looked to me unlike a queen
Laying there, defenceless, nude
Her bloodied back on rough hewn wood.

Well, if my boss had said to me
That we’d be nailing royalty
I would have taken greater care
She’d not get splinters, laying there.

Pp then broke my reverie
The bastard cracked his whip at me!
But, though he may have been in jest
I set about my task with zest!

I said to her, “I’m sorry, Queen!”
I hit that nail then, hard and clean;
She arched her back, and roared with pain
But I just hit the nail again.

She wasn’t quite so helpful now
The soldiers fought to hold her down;
I hammered home that vicious spike
Then got a new sharp nail to strike!

I must have hit an artery –
Her royal blood sprayed over me!
I watched her fight, I heard her sob
But carried on my bloody job.

Siss was screaming “let her go!”
Pp’s whip cracked, “I don’t think so!”
Roxie, on her cross, distraught
In agony she vainly fought.

Barb’s wrists were now with steel impaled
T’was time to get those slim feet nailed.
She raised her head to watch us work
And pulled her foot back with a jerk!

She tried to kick me, but, you see
We caught her leg quite easily
And so her final fight was lost –
I nailed her feet onto that cross.

Each hammer blow, as I could see
Was causing utter agony.
The blood flowed from her feet in spurts,
“Oh God!” she yelled, “it fucking hurts!”

I understood. It seemed to me
This change in her vocabulary
Was well and truly justified
As she was being crucified.
