An ambitious multi-figure composition from Messa's 'Easter 2018' thread, featuring site members in Le Parc de Balzac at Angers. Rarely do we see as many as four subjects carrying their beams in a single photo manipulation.
Morten Sigurdson's Vivian enters the scene from stage left, and Messa herself is represented by a modified, re-faced Makar model (Iulia) kneeling in the right foreground. Bellesouth is represented by a second re-faced Makar model (Tania) on the path in the middle distance, behind a third Makar model.
The close attention to scale and lighting is noteworthy, ensuring a convincing placement of the figures on a ground surface mottled by bright sunlight and dense shadows. Each character strikes an individual pose and the harmonious composition draws the eye through all the figures in a clockwise rotation. Nice work, Messa - I rather like it.

And love this series too. The dirt and grime on her naked body as she carries the patibulum makes her so much more attractive. And the contemplative expression on her face gives an added depth to these images as well.
