I think of it as "Crucifictions 3."

Damian and Makar teamed up for "Crucifictions."

Makar died last year, tragically and shockingly young. But his collaborator Image Maker and Damian are still around, as are the images Makar inspired.

Mind you, Dofantasy has had "issues" with naked women nailed to crosses. Afraid advertisers would find such too strong meat. Which is why Crux2 featured ropes only. As will Female Crucifictions.

*sigh*

But Cthulhu love him, Damian reconfigured a few with nails, and I'm posting them here for your enjoyment.

The first time I clicked on the link I got the Forbidden message but now it works fine. You can always simply Google Dofantasy.
 
I think the links only work once you have opened up a connection to dofantasy.com in another tab on your browser.

I am getting confused! For the 99.99% of readers like me, Cthulhu is a mythical undersea creature invented by H P Lovecraft (Nothing to do with Ketchup)
Looking at the content of some of Dofantasy comics how can they complain about the use of a few pretend nails! If anyone has bought a copy of the new Female Crucifictions and wants a nail friendly copy just send it to me via Email.:rolleyes:
Oh yes! Why is Ghenkus Khan hiding between two crucified women?..are they going to scare the enemy away.."Don't worry men..as soon as they see two naked women nailed to a tree they will run!!"

It looks like Hangnail is correct. Over here the link only works once you have accessed Dofantasy in another tab.

They would have been led by the King's wife Mugain? ...but I can't find the story..anyway, just going to watch The Murdoch Mysteries.
 
That's right Melissa, it comes in the flashback accounts of Cu Chulainn's boyhood -​
he was already slaughtering hundreds in his battle-frenzy,​
but couldn't cope with the sight of bare breasts​
(so the Ulstermen caught him and plunged him in three vats of cold water,​

I've a hunch the use of naked, or at least bare-breasted, women to [try to] embarrass enemies into retreat​
is a motif that crops up quite often in legends across the Indo-European world.​
 
Don't worry about it Apostate. The site can be directly accessed anyway. BTW Lady Chlamydia Fairweather-Golightly (Chair-Campaign For Real Nails) thinks it highly illogical to continue selling Crucifictions 1 while asking for 2 and 3 to have ropes instead.

Well I had no trouble logging in and purchasing it. :)

I appreciated Apostate's explanation about the nails as that is my preference. It just astounds me that with all the insane cruelty in the REAL world, all around us, IM and Damian would be hassled about "manipulations."

I enjoyed it. I loved Jedakk's stories in the first volume and these were pretty well done too.

To understand the plight of artists who try to cater to our tastes, I particularly appreciated the request to respect the copyright. I wish I could post it here. It was very well expressed. It makes you realize (at least for us hyper moralized recovering Catholics) that if you distribute their work without their permission, it IS exactly the same as stealing from them.

Well THANKS Guys, I feel better paying for your efforts, it was well done, and I will respect your ownership.
OH and MORE please, with nails and blood if you can swing it, :D for private distribution.
