Le Marquis de la Croix is a film directed by Amy Hesketh, with Mila Joya and Jac Avila in the leading roles. It's inspired by the writings of the Marquis de Sade.
This film was made in 2011, when Amy and Jac were shooting THREE movies almost simultaneously:
Barbazul (Bluebeard) directed by Amy, her second feature then.
The first film Amy directed is
Sirwiñakuy.
Maleficarum, directed by Jac Avila, described by a critic as the ultimate inquisition film.
And
Le Marquis.
Amy has a small role in her film, she's a tourist in a museum dedicated to the infamous Marquis de la Croix.
The story itself is a collaboration between Amy and Jac.
It is at the end of 2010 and beginning of 2011 that Jac and Amy began a new journey into films with big budgets, for us, big production values, large casts, amazing locations and so on. This has become a yearly task, with one to three films per year.
