The story then falls into nine chapters of different lengths. There are over 300 pics altogether. The first chapter which I'll post next is "The last fight"
At the time Apostate suggested viewing them as a slide show but you can go one better than that. For anyone who hasn't used Windows Movie Maker it's in All progs. Click on it then on import pics. Go to your folder, say "The Last Fight" and left click on first pic then hold down Ctrl and A. Click on open and all pics appear in WMM. Left click on first pic then Ctrl and A and drag the first pic onto the video/pic time line. Now click on import audio and repeat for your favourite music dragging the file onto the audio line. You can add titles and simple special effects. Finally save your project. It won't have BoundHeat quaking in their boots but here's a money saving tip:
This summer we were invited to a wedding. The couple couldn't afford a professional photographer who wanted $1600 PLUS $400 for the copyright. We said that we would do it as a wedding present. We took our best camera and a laptop. We got folk organised for pics and then in the evening reception we went around and borrowed guests memory cards and downloaded them onto our laptop promissing them a free CD. Next day we sorted out the best 200 from approx. 800 and used WMM to make a slide show with music. We chose The Wedding March of course and Pachalbel's Canon which we downloaded from youtube. We made some nice covers for the CD's and produced loads for family, friends and relatives. They cost about $1 each. Finally we bought a nice photo album and took a CD to a high street photographer who printed the pics for 16 cents each. Our friends were delighted.
