When the Romans occupied her section of Egypt, the Queen paid a call on the Roman general, supremely confident that her charm and great beauty would persuade him to let her keep her crown and possessions. Three days later, she was put on display in front of her palace. During those three days, she has been beaten without mercy. She had been savagely raped dozens of times by the Romans, from the generals right on down to the lowest soldier. Her diet during those three days had consisted entirely of semen. Now, she could only gaze in shock and horror as a gathering crowd of her subjects came to gape at her. This would serve as a lesson and a warning to anyone who thought they could dictate terms to the Romans.
