That's an interesting point,
needless to say, it's been debated in the Forums,

Only 16.9% have voted for 'completely shaved'.
I think in Rotrex's fine picture, it adds to the sense of total subjection,
though the crown of thorns would surely draw blood -
a lot actually, the scalp bleeds easily and profusely.​

I agree, Eulalia. It would be terribly and visibly painful. Also there is the added shame of the girl being shaved. It is another form of stripping, in a sense
