Second Life Pics Of Messaline ( Paskell49)

I was always wondering, what kind of software is used to produce these worlds. The reason is that it should be possible to produce it with some open systems -- if only for the freedom of our enjoyment. Those who are involved with rendering and modeling these worlds, what could you say?
 
I'm not at all a specialist of sofwares and I'm not able to discuss of that here, alas ...:(
I only can be submitted to those who have created SL, but it's for my enjoyement : in any case somebody is obliged to suscribe there ...;)
 
How the new items in SL are being created? What process do you go through to enact a crucifixion in that world?

Several years ago, I downloaded a win32 client and checked that VR out. However, I was only a visitor, and not a content creator.
 
In fact, there is no creation : we only submit our avatar to the process and we can change some things of the avatar in adding marks of whip, loincloth etc..., for example ...
All the rest is already managed by this one who made the process (dance on the cross, different positions ...)
 
Some of my facial expressions , nailed to a cross ... in Cruxwinds, of course ...
