They stand well to the side unless he misses by 45 degrees they have nothing to fear

Semi historical

Spring 1942 eastern Europe:

Einsatztruppen busy shooting a group of jews, while some women of the nearby village watch.

1st of a "moment in time" series of 4 commisioned by Brooks.
A, C and D will be posted when ready

all characters are 18+
No hate intended just trying to depict how it could have went down, back in 1942.

A quick sketch in reaction on @thehangingtree manip he did on a piece of mine.
removing the footrest.

I would have made something like this
No seemingly bored "standard" cutout women half watching

Instead :
Domina: Kes, you are my favorite servant, you know that?
But if you steal again from anyone, I will see you end up like that!!
Kes panicking: Ow my gods, no!

Guess Kes didn't listen because about a year later,
she took 3 days to die on that very same cross.

Hannah looks at her daughter, the gods have been merciful on Nicolle.
In the back of her mind she had hoped against reason, it wouldn't end like this.
That somehow her gods would interfere against the injustice done to 2 innocents.

Now even that unlikely hope has shattered.
Her precious daughter, dead.
She still alive and still tortured by the nails holding her.
Nothing more to live for, quite unable to die yet.
