Electro-torture

I can't stand electric shocks, but paradoxically, projecting myself onto the drawings of this form of torture disturbs me enormously, why? I don't know, so that's why I'm posting on this the drawings are by Cagri (who often inflicts this torture on his heroine)

It’s really interesting to see how artists show the electricity.. in real life I guess you wouldn’t see anything.. but in comics there’s usually this lightning-effect, more visually dramatic I suppose! :dalek:

You are right, you cannot see the electricity, but the body becomes extremely cramped and that causes the pain. I used to be an electrician and have involuntarily tried this out a number of times over the years.

Yes I zapped myself once on an exposed wire. Not something I wish to repeat! But it makes for a pleasing fantasy seeing it used as a torture in these comics.
