Artistically, it's lovely. Erotically, it doesn't suit my own sordid tastes.
The picture is in a style I call "imitation of Christ," something meant to evoke the traditional image of Christ on the cross. I am aware that a lot of crux people find that really, really hot. I think has something to do with the blasphemy angle, a naked girl in the place of Jesus.
I'm not one of those people. But the artist and his work has a place here and on any crux group. And I wonder. Would he be willing to try doing something more realistic, like Makar's photos, or Jedakk's or Cordero's artwork?
