Crucified males

I'm mostly straight, but to me a man on a cross isn't as exciting as a woman. Is it just me, or do other women think the same thing? Is it perhaps because I am imagining that its me on that cross? Wondering

Well - only you can answer, if you imagine yourself on the cross and if that is the reason for your interest in female crux.
For myself - I much prefer to look at the female body, whether crucified or not.

This is a big question for me on here. Why do so few of the women show an interest in male crux? I would like to know the answer.
I understand the imagining part, I think the vicarious experience is one of the things that draws me to male crux, so I see how that works.

I do not perceive crucified men as sexually attractive either. It is rather the fantasy of the ‘vicarious’ experience that makes it interesting.

Crucified men are no longer sexually attractive for women? Just some thoughts.
Despised and disapproved because they got themselves caught? They became useless. They lost their power to fight, to procreate, to protect. They lost these powers that eroticise. So, women have lost their interest in them? They became 'invisible' for women, they became just slowly dying pieces of naked meat. Being aware of that adds another element of humiliation to the degrading experience of the crucified man.

Interesting idea there Loxuru but I cannot help but wonder if that might not be the very attraction for some women. Historically women are notorious for loving a good execution think of the tricoteuse or the fearsome reputation of Afghan women in the 19th Century. Men reduced in status, discarded, made vulnerable, safe objects to vent your spleen as they are turned into refuse to be cut from the herd and denied further existence.

I think there are plenty of women out there who enjoy a good vulnerable male, they may not want to mate with him but they can still enjoy his suffering. There are an awful lot of hetero dommes and sadistic women out there in the physical scene.

I also think we need to be aware of the whole "sexual" thing, crux is never about straight forwards sexuality in the first place and for some connoisseurs is far more about aesthetics or symbolism than sex.

I fully agree with you. I only focused on one possible explanation, but the whole picture is without doubt much more diverse.

I've seen something similar said by one of the ladies here, a few years ago. There may well be something to that, to them a man on a cross is a man diminished, less desirable. We are programmed to see and react to the opposite sex in different ways. Interesting.

I think I relate to that. An attractive man on a cross is a very attractive man,
displayed to advantage, but the fact that he's being tortured doesn't seem arousing to me.
I identify with a crucified woman, feel myself in her skin, sharing her feelings,
physically and emotionally. Maybe a man viewing a crucified man does likewise?
And I think some men here see crucified women rather as I do men,
attractive women 'well displayed', for others the fact that we're being tortured
is the powerful part.

Well, for me the beauty of the female form displayed on a cross is a major turn-on, the straining muscles, twisting and writhing in agony that could just as well be passion. Tortures that destroy beauty are not a turn-on for me, although I sometimes write about those too because the story demands it.

Now those are just the aesthetic part; the psychological and emotional aspects of a victim facing a horrific, slow and agonizing death are more interesting to me.

Yes, as a submissive woman I want to see women on the cross not men. Of course I love the male body and am turned on by it, but not dominated as in crucifixion. Men are supposed to dominate us, not be dominated themselves. Of course I realize others feel very differently about this. And at least one is obnoxious about that.

For me Men on a cross are so exciting .... I was watching a woman crucifixion today on net and it was not the same....she seemed so fragile and lost ...i am thinking that for me it is a question of dominance having a MAN on a cross ... Maybe a dream maybe a memorie from a past life but for me a MAN on a cross is a turning on

I feel the same way, Balti. As my profile states, I am gay so I'd much rather see images of guys being crucified or whipped or tortured. Sadly for me, The vast majority of people on this site prefer women which is fine, but doesn't interest me. I wish we could create a forum for male crucifixions!
What do you guys think?

There used to be a male-only Yahoo crucifixion group called Crucim and I think it was quite active. Back in 2005, that group as well as the Crux group were zapped by Yahoo. The Crux group became the Crux Foundation and the Crux Forums appeared about that same time, but I don't know what the Crucim people did.

Actually, I did a quick search and it appears that Sejanus, who I think actually ran that group, is still around. Here's a link you might find of help: http://crucim.blogspot.com/?zx=5fd278d8b308b8ec And if you google "crucim" you might find some more info also.

Thanks very much. The crucim.blogspot has only one story and no art. But Google produced a new blog plus a link to DeviantArt.

You might try contacting Sejanus and asking him what's going on and if he has any plans currently for a new group. As I recall, he was pretty tough on that group; if you joined and didn't participate or contribute, he'd kick you out. And I think he still had a good many members. My guess is that he couldn't find a new home for his group. It's not as easy as you might think, given the content of these forums, because most hosting services won't allow that on their servers.

I don't see why you couldn't create a forum here, however. Good luck!

That's right, Crucim went the way of Crux but many of its members finished up in M_C_R_esearch, which is on Yahoo and Google groups. male Crux Research.
Sejanus is a member here under the name myrelin.
