This series looks like a 'mother and daughter' scenario, presumably from a film?

Yes, it certainly is. Like being burned, but the burning shoots right into and through you.
And it's psychologically destructive too, you can't fight it, it takes control of your body
turns you into a rag doll hurling about, hurting yourself, unable to resist.
Accounts from survivors of severe torture agree that it's the worst, indeed no other torture is really required -
beatings are just for 'softening up', other kinds of burning less controllable, less efficient.

For the torturer, it has the added advantage that - when done correctly - it causes little or no physical damage. Therefore, the same area can be shocked repeatedly. And, if the subject is to be released afterwards, there will be no outward signs of torture.

Oh, I think Barbaria's the leader - at least when it comes to rebellions,
this girl just strives to keep up slavegirl standards,
but it's as hopeless as resisting electro-torture :rolleyes: :p

Seriously, those gifs illustrate just what I was saying
about the total helplessness electro-torture forces on you,
your body becomes entirely controlled by the Torturer.
