Erin the elf girl was on her way to Judea riding her trusty steed through the country side,everywhere she could see the signs of the Romans posted along the roads and in villages proclaming glory to the Empire.Erin had come a long way from her home in Ireland and had seen many Roman troops along the way and how she wished that one day they could drive the invaders from their lands,Erin had no love for the Romans,she was banished from the shire by the Elfin high counsel for killing a Roman soldier who she felt was trespassing on their land.But the High counsel did not see it that way and stripped Erin of her immortality and most of her powers and was banished from the shire untill she redeemed herself,but redemption was far from her mind and wanted only to drive the Romans from their land.Erin knew of her human mother,a Roman woman who after giving birth to her then gave her to the elfs to raise as their own,her father was an elf a member of the High Counsel that banished her...she was told by her father how her mother a woman with red hair had given her to the elfs to keep her secret from the Emperior and to save her career in the empire.Her mother had risen through the ranks very quickly and was now the Governor of Judea and a close "friend" of the emperior himself,and was now up for promotion to the Roman senate.Erin wanted to meet her human mother and send her a message and a warning to withdraw the legions from their land or face war.As Erin rode she heard the screams of a girl in the distance and she then rode fast to help of she could...she then came to the burning remains of a small village and saw four roman soldiers who were about to rape a young girl,the soldiers were so busy with the girl that they did not notice Erin as she rode up to them.
"Excuse me!"she said.The roman sargent turned to her a little startilled by her presence.
"What do you want?"he demanded.
"Four agenst one...I dont think thats very fair do you?"
"Be on your way girl,this is no concern of yours!"
"Well im making it my concern...tell me just what justifies the raping of a girl?"The sargent pointed to a large bag of gold on the ground."This gold belongs to the Governor of Judea,this girl tried to steal it...after she is raped she will be crucified!"Erin then jumped off her horse and drew her sword.
"Wrong,that gold is mine and if you want it you will have to kill me...now leave the girl alone!" The soldiers then turned their attention to Erin,the sargent then drew his sword."Might I have your name before I run you thourgh?"
"I am Erin of Ireland...elfgirl warrior!"the soldiers laughed and the sargent put away his sword,this girl would be no match for them."Kill her!"the sargent ordered.The other soldiers drew there swords and moved toward the elfgirl,Erin smiled...this is what she had been waiting for.With one swiff stroke of her sword she slashed the throat of the first soldier and then moving swiftly she then cut down another soldier...then turning to the other she pointed her sword ant him...a firebolt shot from the sword strikeing him down and reducing him to a pile of ashes.The sargent then tried to run but moving swiftly Erin knocked him to the ground and put the point of her sword to his throat,he looked at the elfgirl his eyes wide and expecting his death.Erin smiled at him."Now,might I have your name before I run you through?"
"Druses...sargent of the guards,and aid to governor Connie of Judea!"He closed his eyes waiting to be killed."I want you to give a message to the Governor of Judea...tell her what happened here today...tell her what you saw and tell her for every harm she does these people I will visit it back on her ten fold!"Erin then put her sword away."Now get on your horse and get out of here before I change my mind!"The sargent quickly mounted his horse and rode away.Erin then went to the girl on the ground and helped her to stand."thank you for saving me."she said.
"What is your name,girl?"
"Messaline...my village is not far from here."
"Come I will take you home,and give this gold to your people."
"How can I ever thank you?" Erin then kissed Messaline deep on her lips.
"You just did!"Erin mounted her horse and helped Messaline up,and then took her home to her village.
