Indeed, though from the costumes I would say late-eighteenth century France... Perhaps the public humiliation of an aristocrat... What sayest thou, @ducon007 ?View attachment 1282834
A variation of this theme.
Perhaps this is just the warming up...In France, the head of the aristocrat would have been fixed at the point of the soldiers' bayonet...!
How about 200KB instead? All the pics on this thread can be readily found on the internet. There's little point in making the pics 400KB when a lesser size will do the job just as well. None of the pics are rare or difficult to find. This pic for example appears to come from a 20th C schoolbook on Latvian history. Possibly illustrated by a local artist from Riga. Here's a 850KB version hosted for free on Imgur. I'm getting a little concerned about building a massive library of tens of thousands of works which can be readily found elsewhere. 360days x 400Kb x 5 = 720MB but an artist like Jucundus would use up only a tenth of that amount in a year. I'm sorry to sound grumpy but some members seem to view the limits of 400Kb and 5 per thread as the minimum that must be achieved. One member even wanted his "quota" backdated as he hadn't used it for a week. On a more positive note I think you'll find members making more comments about the pics if they weren't faced with 35 per week.Moderators: keep it under 400KB!
coldturkey: how about 399.7 ?
Not so sure. I have tried to collect pics for this thread, I found nothing suitable. Most of the pics are new for me, what is always interesting, and, presented together, they suit the BDSM topic. My current collection of about 600 pics on the 'Gerusalemme Liberata' topic, from which I posted a few earlier here, is the work of seven years of an aimed search. They certainly did not show up all at the same time. All the pics on this thread can be readily found on the internet.
Out of scientific interest please post here a hard to find pic and let's see what my turbo charged search app can do.Not so sure. It is not a matter of 'hard to find', it is that, during years of repeated search, using the same google search line, pics may show up that were simply not there during previous searches. It is all depending on the random of what is uploaded on the internet in the course of time.Out of scientific interest please post here a hard to find pic and let's see what my turbo charged search app can do.
Don't use Google or Bing. They are a waste of time. You can achieve years of results in minutes using the right techniques. Give me a pic and I will show you.It is not a matter of 'hard to find', it is that, during years of repeated search, using the same google search line, pics may show up that were simply not there during previous searches. I think a collection of 20 000+ images is what I was worried about. That is approx 8GB of bandwidth just uploading. I think you could easily carry on but in a more efficient manner. We have one library on this site and that is our archive for member's work only.Hi melissa,
A lot of the art I posted here is indeed readily available on the Internet, provided one know what to be looking for, which is not always a given. What is more, this art is scattered over the Internet, and not everyone has the luxury of spending hours on end following leads and combing through vast quantities of otherwise uninteresting material. Still, I doubt that everything that I have shared thus far is commonly known. It has taken me many years to come to my collection of over 20000 images of DiD classical art, old engravings and drawings, Curiosa novels, Pulp and Fumetti art, Japanese SM, and other vintage BDSM-related art. And I am sure that among the members of this forum there are countless other treasures just waiting to be uncovered. My idea was to use one thread of this forum for the purpose of facilitating these exchanges. But if you believe that I am purposelessly using up space with this project, I don't mind doing so elsewhere...
