More propaganda; this time from WWI.
I believe this is from a French magazine, artist unknown.
It shows the beastly Germany threatening bound females representing three regions. I find the choices rather odd though. Alsace-Lorraine is a disputed area on the Franco-German border so its an obvious one. But, Poland was part of the Russian Empire, which was allied to France, and Bulgaria was an ally of Germany.

Poland after the third partition was divided between Russia, Prussia and Austria-Hungary. In fact, during the First World War, the Poles fought against the Poles. Indeed, one may not understand which part of Poland is being referred to in the cartoon: the one that belongs to Germany or the one that belongs to Russia.

Revolutionary War Propaganda.
A 1774 cartoon engraving by Paul Revere, who contributed more as an engraver than as a horseman. A protest against the Tea Tax, it depicts America as an Indian maiden.
I like the look of the guy holding her feet...and lifting her skirt.

We are talking about the American Revolution. The French revolutionaries were much more gallant...!

The first two look like the Drownings at Nantes. A favourite trick was to tie a naked priest to a naked nun, declare them married and throw them in the river!
Indeed they are.
Between November 1793 and September 1794, thousands of men, women and children (not depicted here) were drowned in the Loire by revolutionary leader Jean-Baptiste Carrier. After the fall of his patron Robespierre, Carrier was tried and guillotined in December 1794.
