The last picture looks like my feet...I have been tied up many times like that.

A good example of this on display: the toughened soles of a slave of several years, visible as she rests for a moment on a fence along the side of the road on her way back from a trip into town, fetching some things from the store for her owners. Her owners' home is in a quiet rural area, and several times a week she walks into town alone (about a mile & a half each way) to run errands. Most of the walk is on soft grass or dirt, but she is nevertheless able to handle walking on asphalt and sidewalks in town without discomfort. Also visible of course is the symbol of her bondage, a steel chain ankle bracelet actually crafted by her mistress, an artist. There is a matching one on her other ankle, and she has been fitted with matching steel toe rings too, which has become very popular to do among slave owners.

Great thread, I toootally agree with this idea! Slaves, captives and prisoners have to be barefoot. No ifs, no buts. Every rock and pebble must remind them of their predicament. Everyone around them should immediately know about their status by seeing their unprotected feet.

Here's one of my recent renders on this topic. We have a freshly minted captive who's been stripped of her boots and tied up like some kind of an animal. She cries out in pain as her captors make her walk over rough terrain, stumbling and cursing them. Sure, they'd get to their destination faster if they let her keep her footwear or if they put her on one of their horses or if she was walking on that grass, but it's best if she starts learning her lesson as soon as possible.

If I can add...for me the appeal of bare feet is a few things. First of all is of course the obvious connotations of subjugation. I had a fascination with slaves and prisoners from an early age and one of the first things I noticed is that they were nearly always forced to be barefoot. That deprivation of one of the standard human comforts stuck with me. Its such a clear signifier that one has been forced into a lower status, to be deprived of shoes in incongruous environments or situations.

A related kink for me, and this is pretty specific, is the bravery and toughness of women who are forced to go barefoot, either through subjugation or circumstance, in some sort of hostile or otherwise undesirable environment, but who power through because their determination overcomes their discomfort. That very specific juxtaposition of vulnerability and bravery is really hot to me.

This is why I'm less interested in your usual foot fetish porn that's just extreme closeups of soles and pedicures, and much more interested in full-body shots of women without shoes. I'm interested in their reaction and their relationship to the environment and not just the feet.
