SFM is an animation tool built using Valve's Source Engine, the same engine used in games like Half-Life 2 and Portal. It basically allows any compatible models, sounds, assets etc. to be loaded in much like Blender and posed/animated to your liking.

I'd like to learn to animate, but it will probably be quite a while before I make one good enough to post.

This is very good indeed, NM! In terms of realism and quality it far outstrips anything else that I have seen from SFM, animated or still. It sounds like it pushed your computer to its limit, and thank you for persevering!
