I finally managed to get a new crucifixion set with my model Shannon, but it was a pain in the ass to produce. First we were held up by weather, then our camera equipment decided to quit on us. Finally I managed to enlist the aid of a professional photography friend of mine to take the photos and the rest is history.

I think it's our best set yet. We also took some video, but sadly my business partner managed to pick up the wrong kind of camera (ignoring my instructions to get a digital with fire wire, he picked up a high 8 with no fire wire!). I didn't realize his mistake until it was too late and we have no way to upload the video to my hard drive for viewing, let alone editing.

But at least we have the photos. I hope you enjoy these samples.

I notice you have the new cable-type white ropes. They look more stretchable -- are they better for the model?

It's a 1/2 inch soft cotton/nylon blend, not really stretchable and difficult to tie, but Shannon finds them a lot more comfortable than that mock hemp stuff we used last year. I have ways to "cheat" to keep the rope from slipping, which was the problem this time around.

I've also managed to locate a new model who wants to be crucified. She goes by the name Poison Doll and admits she's a major pain slut. We'll see how much she likes the rope! LOL

Shannon also begged to be her tormentor as a little pay back for all the fun 'n games she's suffered on the cross over the past year. I'm also going to see if I can do a proper duel crucifixion this summer with them both. This time we'll get it on video I can actually upload!

WW, if you find someone who can borrow you a Digital8-camera, then you can upload the Hi8-Video to your computer. The D8s can put analog material through the firewire.

The pics of Shannon are great once again, she looks alot like a friend of mine...
 
Fabulous shoot, as always, WW; you and your crew's work is inspired to say the least.
I await with keen anticipation the dual crux.

Welshy, baby, you might think that phrase 'if the check clears, its art' is really clever but to the reader it sucks big time. Get something else or nothing at all.
 
Speak for yourself. I've always kind of liked that quote.

Welsh Webb has contributed hundreds of photographs and drawings, free of charge, for all of us to enjoy. He's one of the perhaps one percent of the membership of this forum who actually do contribute. I'd say he deserves much better for his efforts than such unwarranted criticism.

Oh my, I've upset Rascal of all people, with my sig. How will I ever live with myself now? How my otherwise fine day has now been beset with gloom and self-loathing, all because Rascal, hates my signature?

And now I shall spend this Christmas season with head held low in shame because of my transgressions against the great Rascal; taking no pleasure in the lights and decorations or presents or gatherings with friends or family because of my horrible signature.

How can I go on this day with the knowledge that Rascal is displeased with my signature? How shall I find the strength to continue even such a simple task as opening my Internet Explorer? Perhaps I shouldn't even use IE as Rascal may not approve?

Oh! What to do, what to do?

I like that quote, "If the check clears..." To you, Mr. Welsh, Keep up the good work. I like what you have done so far especially with Shannon.
 
Oh, who cares whether someone likes that quote or not? It's the pictures and the thoughts that count. Keep up the good work, WW, and pay no mind to such petty criticisms. I understand even the great Michaelangelo had his critics.
