From my very limited experience, having a footrest of some sort makes sense. Positioned so that on just off tiptoe the girls tender bits are just off the cruel edge. So can be comfortable, if humiliatingly exposed. Could ever be astride it in a skirt or dress. But as the legs tire and in particular calf muscles inevitably one comes to rest of the edge. And as the pain builds one can lift to relieve the pressure for a little while. Until the legs tire again.
My early makeshift experience was with a table edge and books plied up to the correct height which was my uncles idea. And praying they were secure and would not topple.
So gradually lifting becomes less and less possible. And too painful. And so one has to gradually ‘ride’ the edge - shifting to move the pressure from clitoris to labia all the while sinking lower. And lubricated. And crying and pleading unless gagged somehow....
