I sometimes wonder how I might feel the night before my execution. I know my sentence (you can decide...crucifixion, impalement, torn apart limb from limb, burned, disembowelled...). I have been stripped naked. My body has the marks of my tortures. I have been raped. And now I am lying in chains on a bed of straw. The bell is tolling two in the morning...How do I feel?
