You sure can Sir Wragg! Nice post!
I always loved this tv series, used to watch it all the time. I sure wish the series showed Xena and Gabrielle like this:very_hot:........I always thought Gabrielle was hot, and Xena, well, she was smoking!
:bdsm-heart:
What was she smoking?

Was think uTorrent and bitcomet torrets not exist already from decade?
Well they are out there, but not quite as heavily seeded as more recent stuff, but you should still be able to find pretty much anything you want :)

Wow. Memories of this series. I watched it , with four other girls, from the first season (1995?) while we were all freshmen in high school. When I went to college, I saw it very infrequently. I probably have not seen anything of it in over 20 years. I liked the show, the interplay of Xena and Gabrielle, and the mix of pseudo history and mythology. It was a fantasy and I have always liked that. A couple of us had girl crushes on Gabrielle. Xena was powerful; Gabrielle was cute. :)

I just Googled the "Ides of March" episode - on YouTube (had never seen that one). If there was ever any doubt that the two women characters were intended to be gay, that one resolved it. There were so many hints before that. Maybe the producers and writers did not intend any sexual inuendo at first, but it developed as the series went on. The two women were strong, resilient, sexually appealing and cool.

When Lucy was asked during the show's lifespan about their lesbian following she was very coy about whether or not she was. Years later she admitted that once it became obvious that they had grabbed that segment of the market it was decided to play it up thru innuendo in a way that would not offend a mainstream audience.

She has been married twice to men and while has never been officially connected (rumors don't count) with a female romantic partner she has also been vocal in supporting lesbian\bi causes.
