Barbaria and Siss hang by their wrists from the shackles atop their scourging post. Dazed and bleeding, they watch helplessly as all around them hundreds are nailed and raised in the biggest mass crucifixion in the history of the Roman arena.

Okay not wishing to get ahead of myself or put any pressure on the writers but this has been a well received, hugely followed piece of work. It has shown compelling writing and characterisation amidst some powerful set pieces.
