Guard
Hi everyone! I am Ancsa. Girlfriend of András, who uses this account here.
We have made a profile on secondlife nearly a month ago. We chose a female character, and tryed to form it to look like me. (With much or less success.)
We wanted to try out the Cruxwinds area there, but didn't finde it for the first few time, so Andras asked for help on a previous forum, where CrocceusTyrannus (Doc) kindly helped us. He showed me every part of that beautifull area, and tought me to use the objects there.
It was two days ago, but less than a day I created my character nearly full. Befor I found Doc, I couldnt even take off my characters clothes, but now I can do anything what I need, to be a crucifixion victim. :)
Yesterday night I have met Doc again online, and we showed that to András, how nice and enjoyable can be this game after a short practise.
We have played out a full crucifixion.
Doc even wrote my name on the cross! I enjoyed every second of it.
It's only a game, but I nearly felt that I am the shameless slave girl on that cross, and I was pleading for more!

Great post Ancsa!

While we were playing I could hear a camera clicking away! Now I see why! I'm one of those guys that loves doing crux on camera. In fact, the name of my present movie project is named after me (Docius:) Ha-Ha!

Ancsa really got some nice shots that bring back fond memories. One thing to mention about the nails, is that can be edited for position and rotation if need be. That is, they can be changed so that they appear to go through a limb and vanish into the wood instead of seeing the point coming out the other side of the limb, missing beam. Also, you may see more resolution/detail in my picture than her's, because of the four settings for that: Low, Medium, High and Ultra which is determined much by the quality of the graphics card. Nvidia cards are Second Life friendly. (ATI?) cards, like mine, are not, but mine is 1G and I and I can easily do Ultra setting and 50-55 fps, sometimes running 3 avatars (people) at a time. Still, because of some serious crashes and all the negatives on mine, I'm switching to Nvidia.

Ancsa is a big breath of fresh air in Cruxwinds! This wonderful gal just loves crucifixion, as I do too. Now we are trying to get her boyfriend into Second Life to enjoy some fun! In fact, as we play our crux games he is often watching next to her on the computer! Ha! That shows the very special bond us crux people have. Our mutual love of the beams goes far beyond simple romantic relationships.

It has always been so at Cruxwinds. With the origianl CW crewI'd often be elbow to elbow with a guy torturing and crucifying his girlfriend; she spitting down at us from the cross and us tormenting her more in return. Everything was done in dead seriousness, but after it was all done, we all stood around joking like the old buddies we became!

In time many of us became drawn to other facets of Second life and most went their own way, but never forgetting their crux family back home. It got very quiet in CruxWinds after I bought the place with only my good friends Jin and Dana partaking, both developing new crux animations and making other contributions.

Now along comes this Ancsa, who I figured to be just another crux n' go person, but no, she was there at CW for many hours each day, contributing new crux devices and ideas. Now she wants to draw up a big mapped out make-over plan of the entire place!!! Hooray!! Go for it!! That is the kind of enthusiasm I love! Can't wait to see it!

I did make one request though, that she keeps the little wooden bridge near the top of the big hill. Cruxwinds founder, Subtext (Chris,) built that bridge and is the only thing remaining from the original Cruxwinds and I always wanted it to be representaive of my desire to see the original Cruxwinders cross back over the bridge back home again. However, if she decides to blow that bridge into smithereens, so be it! I will not stand in the way of a crazed crux woman!

If she makes a mistake then she shall be sentenced to be scourged and crucified! Go for it Ancsa! The eyes of all Cruxdom are upon you!!

I know that some day, when I hang in pain, agony and humiliation from my cross atop the big hill, that I will look down over CruxWinds in content, knowing my work on earth (Second Life) is finally finished and unto my accountant I'll commend my spirit! Ancsa will be with me there in paradise! Amen

GR
I

i downloaded seceond life yesterday, but can not find the destination of cruxwind, can u tell me what is the destination?

I had they same problem - got as far as https://sites.google.com/site/patibulum66/home/group-joiner/joiner-2, then
and was luckily spotted there by Docius (CW)/ Goldenruler(CF) who recognised me and teleported me to the Fort.
I'll tell him you're having problems when I'm there myself and ask him to come back to the Forum and find you!

It's brilliant when you do get there! I expect you've seen the Cruxwinds thread on our Forums site? http://www.cruxforums.com/xf/threads/cruxwinds-the-movie.1575/#post-31699

Ha-Ha! This was a fun ol' thread to read! Ancsa really did turn out to be the savior for Cruxwinds. following a period where the original members took a break and went off on other Second Life interests. Had it not been for Ancsa's entusiasm and hard work, I would have abandoned the land.

The original CW land was the biggest problem. It was 'moderate' rated and not suited for our 'adult' activities. Worse, right next door was a Kiddieland park, so we had to hide everything we were doing. Once we rebuilt on 'adult' rated land the original members drifted back.

My long promised, but never delivered movie, finally came to be made and the place has taken off!

Now we have a flood of new members and even a very generous financial backer to help cover costs. General contributions picked up too along with some revenue from items sold at our vendor boards. It doesn't really cost much to run CW, about $24 USD per month, but it adds up.

Still, money is only secondary to the hard work and support by charter members Possum, Mark and CW founder, Chris.

The future of Cruxwinds looks bright and it is not uncommon to see three or four un(fortunate?) victims at once hanging in agony from the crosses. -Docius (Doc/GR)

i'm trying to get into cruxwinds too, and have the same problem as Eulalia - i get to somewhere called 'erotic dreams' and i can fly over the fort, but can't get in or find the welcome area. Can anyone help?

Hi Lulu!

Eulalia did make it in and had some very stirring sessions there. I really valued her presence there, because she is really into it, especially the role play aspect. Unfortuanately her computer wasn't quite up to the task. Dedicated as she was to the role play and the various scenarios, she said she wasn't tht concerned about the computer glitches. I only wish I could have spent more time with her. We had a flood of new members at that time, due to the movie release and both Marcus and I had our hands full torturing and crucifying all of them. We often had all five our main crosses occupied and more victims were literally waiting in line. It has settled down some now, but we often crucify a half dozen people a day! Hey! I'm the one who likes to be crucified, rather than crucified others, but to make Cruxwinds work properly some of us have to switch roles and even create and run multiple avatars to keep pace with it all.

I'm gald you were at least able to fly over Cruxwinds. Erotic Dreams is the island Cruxwinds is on. I own the Cruxwinds land and am able to bet new persons in there without them actually being members, by putting their names on the land access list. So, I need to know your Second Life name to put you on that list and later you can become an actual member if you like.

You can put my SL name (Doc Droverson) in the search box in the upper right corner of your SL screen and when I pop up in the results you will see and 'IM' (Instant Message) button to contact me.

You can also Private Message me here for my email address.

Look forward to seeing you and wonderful Eulalia back too!!!

GR

Yes, it's a bloody nuisance my PC can't cope with all your exciting animations -
just paying off the installments on the laptop I use for "real life",
then I'll invest in a mightier PC.
Meanwhile, I can't recommend Cruxwinds too highly,
for anyone who likes the kinds of stuff we feature on CruxForums
and fancies playing it out in a cool 2nd Life scenario with some great guys and gals.

Thank you wonderful Eula!!!!!!!

You just take your time and get set up with the right equipment. We'll be here better than before.

Oh, if you can get a Nvidea graphics card with at least 1g memory. It is the most Second Life friendly.

I've got a new animation creation program which I am going to set up in the commisary. The process is very intuitive and you make the animations inworld, solike if you are making a crucifixion animation, you can build it with the avatar right on the cross, instead of making it outside SL and importing it in and not having it fit properly to objects.

Ther is also some talk of incorporating Open Collar/RLV, whereby one person can control another, such as leading someone from the prison cell to the torture room by a chain to their neck collar. You can also strip prisoners and many other dirty rotten little things!

I used the system when I did a few weeks at Sadism Prison and really liked it. There, the guards had complete control over the prisoners. You really were locked in your cell and many of your regular SL funcions were restricted, such as Private Chat and moving your viewer point of reference away from your body. Teleporting away was strictly forbidden and you had to log out of SL from your cell and then log back into your cell when you came back to Second Life. If you violated these and other rules you were reported to the role play master andcould be banned from the region.

OMG! It was just like being in real prison, which is something I've never done in RL, but did do 6 days in county jail for a DUI (driving under the influence) when I was much younger. (he-he!)

There is a lot of waiting around in your cell where you bide your time waiting in fear for the guard to come, fasten a chain to your neck and take you off to some god awful torture and/or humiliation. The suspense and dread of what they are going to do is overpowering! I loved every second of it, except maybe the long waits in my cell, or chained to a post waiting for something to happen. That is realistic though.

I've included a few shots from my prison adventure here. It is my old 'skin' (body) with a dong that was probably unrealistically large, but I eventually downsized some. Hey! That's Second Life!

Thank you GR! :)

My second life name is Lulu665. I'll try getting on a bit later and see if i can get in, or if you're on and i can IM you.

Just missed you by a few minutes, but I see Mark welcomed you in.

Next visit we can show you around and teach you how to use the torture toys and crosses.

Mark said you are a very fast learner and already have a good avatar and discipline marks!

Now we just need to find you guilty of some crime and have you crucified!! gr

Yes, I'd like rules of that kind on the Island -
would make it all the more real!
I always put myself back in my cell before logging off,
and only let myself out to be enslaved, flogged, crucified etc.
if nobody comes to fetch me!

You were the first to ever do that here. You are very dedicated role player! We will likely incorporate the features I described, but right now we are keeping it all pretty loose and simple for all the new members.

Right now we are assessing our financial status and are looking to expand land holdings. It would be nice to have the crucifixions on hill way beyond the prison fort. Like to also have a small village and a rich villa. Old CW was bigger and we had the village and villa. It was a nice touch to have wealthy Romans wining and dining in luxury onthe villa patio and gazing over in amusement at the poor devils crucified on the hill a ways off!

Right now Mark and I have the new animation creation system set up and are looking it over.

We want to build a good multi person cross raising animation. These are simple to use tools and you don't have to be an animation artist. You just move the body around in different poses creating various keyframes. The system will then create all of the motion between the keyframes. Pretty cool! You do have ot be patient and focused though. I paint tiny figurines, so it is right up my alley. -GR

You are very dedicated role player!
Thanks GR, that's a very nice compliment -
whether I'm writing stories or poems, playing out BDSM scenarios with partner and/or friends, or in 2nd life,
I do love to feel 100% into my (slave/ victim) role!

Thank you GR - Mark did welcome me and show me the ropes... and crosses. :p I'm looking forward to being thoroughly used and abused.

For those who are having the same problem as me with getting access to the fort, I managed to do it by searching for 'cruxwinds' from within the second life viewer, which opened a page that allowed me to join the group. After that I was able to walk into the fort from the island.

Thank you Lulu! Mark has been invaluable to CW these past few weeks, not only helping new members but playing his natural dom role. One thing I have noticed throughout the BDSM world in Second Life is that subs outnumber doms by 3-1. When I joined up 2 years ago I had 2-3 'slaves' even before learning SL basics. This was outside of Cruxwinds and I'm basically a sub myself! I've had to switch roles for the good of Cruxwinds. We are hoping that those subs who can switch roles will do so now and then to help out.

Thank you too, Lulu, for the instructions on how to get into Cruxwinds. I own the land for the Cruxwinds group, so it is possible for me to put your SL name on the land access list and you can get in without being a Cruxwinds member. Then, after you are in you can sign up with the group. I wasn't a CW member until after 3 weeks being there. -GR
