Thank you GR - Mark did welcome me and show me the ropes... and crosses. I'm looking forward to being thoroughly used and abused.

For those who are having the same problem as me with getting access to the fort, I managed to do it by searching for 'cruxwinds' from within the second life viewer, which opened a page that allowed me to join the group. After that I was able to walk into the fort from the island.

Is cruxwinds still active ? I just joined secon life and am having trouble finding Cruxwinds

It is - although I've not been there for a couple of years now, for lack of time and technology,
I'm still on their e-mail list and get messages, most recently about a month ago.
But I'm not sure how you get to their site, I recall it was a bit of a ppuzzle finding it in SecondLife.
