Crucified?

I like that series very much because it shows the whole process,
with close attention to the girl's anxious, ultimately pained,
but always resolute expression. The sequence when she reaches
the Place of Crucifixion and lies among the fallen leaves is especially nice,
though I think 01 #8, where her ankles are tied, ought to come
after ##9 - 10?

I'm also curious to know what that building is that she drags her cross by,
some sort of kiln?

Our Eulalia is an attentive observer!

It looks more like an outdoor fireplace to me...

Agree the Tree, looks too small to have been used "industrially", reminds me of an early domestic oven, I wonder if it was the only stone part of a wooden building, the rest having disappeared?

Could be, old farms in the Forest are now just gable-ends with fireplaces and chimneys
(they were the posh ones, older/ poorer ones had open fires and the smoke went out through the thatch)
The way it's divided suggests it was used for baking bread etc.
Only of interest to geeks like me I suppose -
but the presence of ruins along the way to the cross
adds something quite powerful for me to the feel of the scene.
