Not necessary... a same thread is like a "rendez-vous" where your followers can go in, from time to time, to see your news and it's well, no?;)
 
I'd second Messaline's suggestion.
Putting it all in one thread is not making it less visible. Visibility comes from "showing up in the "what's new" list", there is no difference between one or multiple threads.
From a forum point of view, fewer threads with more substance are more desirable as well.
