Helmut's Thread

Helmut,

I also like "225 siege" (the mass crucifixion) -- the pictures that you show suggest ideas for stories and interactions. This would be a complicated event to do, and the complications suggest all sorts of inter-woven encounters and scenes. The strict pattern suggests practice and similar experiences by the victorious army -- and that suggests more stories.

Thank you Yusebby,
You make an interesting point; if someone thinks they would like to write a story for one or more of my pictures they are perfectly welcome to do so and post it here. On the other hand if someone has a suggestion for a story they think should be illustrated I would be happy to know about it.
Best regards to all,
Helmut

Last year I thought to make a remembrance of the 911 tragedy in time to have it posted for the anniversary. While I was deciding what to do for this years presentation it came upon me that while many of us have sworn to "Never forget", the background of kayos and destruction somehow didn't seem to fit. In that regard I thought to keep it lighter this year and when I put the sky in the background I believed I"d hit upon it and I hope you agree.
Much has been said and done where 911 is concerned and as a student of History I estimate that in a thousand years, if mankind still exists this date and it's events '..will live in Infamy" and become part of our history.
So simply put:
Rest in peace Taryn,

Also: "... a date that will live in infamy" is a quotation from a speech Franklin D Roosevelt made in the US Congress on December 8, 1941.

No, she's not forgotten.

Odd, that such a tiny demographic as we were affected so directly and tragically by 9/11.

I wish I had awakened to this kink in time to know her.

Or not. I had recurrent panic attacks for almost a year, and I was 12 miles away, and knew only survivors. To know somebody who died so horrifically . . .

Whatever. I submit Zerco's tribute, which I think of as "An Unfinished Portrait, An Unfinished Life."

Requiem æternam dona eis, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat eis.

We must never forget her or any of the victums of that terrible day!Good will defeat evil in the end!To all those who died on 9/11Rest in Peace in god's loving arms!

A special thank you to Connie and Apostate for their responses to my 9/11 tribute.

And now something new to this thread and different. While I like the pose forced upon the model during crucifixion and for me it's the pose, and not objects jammed up her bottom, or even the nails. I did these pix around 2004 some have been posted elsewhere others have not. Actually I have a CD with more pictures on it then there are in this thread, but I only made one copy and Apostate has it. Maybe some day I'll publish it in full resolution, what I use here is reduced to save space on the server.
These three are part of the final chapter of a story I illustrated. Appropriately enough the chapter is called "Death Watch".
Enjoy,
Helmut

Now a note of caution if I may: All of my pictures appearing in this web site and anywhere else on the web are under copy write and can not be used without my consent. Persons coming here and downloading pictures to post elsewhere are cautioned to ask permission first.

Out side the Dung Gate of old Jerusalem was a valley known as the Valley of Death and there are those who believe this place may be the origin of the story of Hell. While the story of Hell is known to be older and the name may vary the concept remains the same.
The area was a dump and it is likely that the place of the sculls was near it if not part of it. So: here we have the Hellish end of evening to a Hellish day.
Enjoy,
Helmut

PS: I had a Halloween presentation but personal business has kept me away.
H.

Thank you for your kind accolades my friends, they are always much appreciated.

And Connie I see that elsewhere in this page you seem to be asking for a whipping. If you would like to return to my place to sit for some pictures, and a little light punishment so it doesn't get boring, I'd be glad to have you.

Well... better late then never.
Happy New Year Everyone and I hope the Holiday season brought joy and happiness to all of you.
Since it's Eastern Orthodox and Russian Christmas I wish everyone so inclined a merry Russian Christmas and actually I have a Christmas present for everyone. I haven't posted any pictures in awhile so I finally had time to sit down and do some work (Pictures).
Recently I've been seeing something about the Cross of Lorraine on the Foundation so I thought I'd try it and I hope you like it.
Enjoy,
Helmut

Helloooooooooooooooooooo!!! Anyone out there?
I like the cross of Lorraine! I think the witches of the Arachna coven will shortly be making good use of it. I don't know where everyone else is but happy new year from me and Jules.

On Saturday, Russian Christmas, I promised to post an old rendering of mine so I will. As you can see it's from a primitive version of Poser but I think the the females look really nice. There were morphs available for that geometry that enabled to artist to make pointy breasts. It not exactly a cross of Lorraine, this one of Connie is closer: download/file.php?id=5832&mode=view ,but I feel it close enough to be of interest.
Enjoy,
Helmut
PS: For those of you who might be curious, I'm not Russian, but my Great Grand Father could understand Russians and spent most of his words on derogatory comments toward them. How the word has changed and for the better.
