Just pointing out, that there is a subtle difference in viewpoint anyway:

My 'Ideal crucifixion weather' thread is from the crucified's viewpoint.
This thread 'Sigh - it starts raining', is from the guard's or onlooker's viewpoint. No one cares about what the weather does with the crucified condemned.
