Without getting too technical, voltage is not the real danger. Amperage is.
Amperage is a measure of electrical current. About 10 milliamperes (mA) causes involuntary muscle contractions. If passed through the heart - like the electrodes on either side of her chest, it can cause fibrillation & death.
Voltage is a measure of electric potential.
Voltage causes burns. Amperage causes death. Human skin is actually quite resistant to voltage & can take up to 450 volts - in short bursts - without damage.
