I bet he gets LOTSA dates with those sweet words?
It looks like...Joint writing becomes Siss n Barb's favorite method. Thanks XSO. I am sure that Siss and Barbaria will encounter the old shrew again. AND everyone please remember that this is a joint writing project. Siss and Barbaria will be alternating posts. Story line suggestions and pics are always welcome!
Those are great pics, Damien & I'm not complaining...But, Siss & Barbaria haven't been captured by pirates. The HMS Malevolent is a Royal Navy ship (a barque, juding by the picture) & their flogging will be carried out according to the strict Naval code.Excellent, here are a few of my older pictures to enhance the story.

Of course. Those were the closest I had to anything similar, after all, they could be captured by pirates in a twist to the plotThose are great pics, Damien & I'm not complaining...But, Siss & Barbaria haven't been captured by pirates. He, my ancestor, was the captain of that barkentine full with those lost girls
The vessel he use here were already used by the Dutch in the 16th or 17th century, the schooners were further developed in North America from the early 18th century, and were more widely used in the United States than in any other country.
The most common type of schooners, with two-masts, were popular in trades that required speed and windward ability, such as slaving, privateering, and blockade running.
yep we were brilliant slave-traders and women-huntersLeave it to the Dutch. .... Masters of all things profitable on the high seas, including all endeavors of dubious morality, such as the above....

yep and sold for one dutch guilderEven founded New York as New Amsterdam, right?
I'm confused. Are you refering to the purchase of Manhattan? I thought Peter Minuet paid 60 guilders. The Dutch didn't sell New Amsterdam...the English took it from them.yep and sold for one dutch guilder

Or, is one guilder the cost of a slave girl? If so, it seems pretty cheap. If Manhattan went for 60 then Siss & Barbaria should go for at least 5 a piece (9 and a half for the pair).
It is after Christmas, Barbaria. A lot is on sale...Thanks for that Naraku! So nice to know what my fair market value is (0r was); and so reassuring to know that Siss and I can be packaged together at just a slight discount. Apparently they hadn't come up yet with the buy one get the second one for half price ploy yet.

Did you know you can donate your slave to the Salvation Army and get at least a 60 guilder deduction of your 2014 income taxes if you itemize your deductions (this could be waived if Barbaria starts a rebellion before April 15 but she could still be busy with 1834).

Here it is.This is more in line with the story, I look forward to the continuation!
