'Clothing' was hastily put on them and they were tightly bound. The ship's captain Hoek turned the last prisoner over to Warden Rodent. Laughing he said "I hope we trained this wench well, but Barbaria may still be a problem!"

Winter temperatures along the coast of Tasmania average around fifty degrees or so in the daytime but can drop to around freezing at night. It's colder and can snow on the interior plateau. Hard labor is the daily routine at the penal colony regardless of the weather. Our girls will soon be put to work outdoors under the watchful eyes of the guards. Slacking is not tolerated.

that's usual in those holiday address and punishment is cruel........................but fair:devil:
