A Stroll Along the Appian Way (featuring Messaline)

All Back Together

Messaline and Marcia hung under the blazing heat of the sun over head. Messaline gazed at the tortured body of her daughter and inwardly wept at her plight. Marcia was young and therefore strong willed to live and continued the agonising rise on her fractured heels to breath.

"Grrrrrr!" she gritted her teeth and pushed down hard. Messaline could see her daughters toes extend and twitch as the edge of the spikes rubbed against raw nerves in her heels. The soles of her feet were engrained with dirt from the long walk to her crucifixion.

"Aaaaargh, Fuuuuck!" she bellowed, as the spikes prevented her straightening her calf muscles.

The soldiers were watching with interest at the continuing struggle for life between mother and daughter. Messaline's body was looking worse for wear from the branding she had received and, from time to time, the whip when the soldiers were bored. Shewas still managing to rise on the single nail holding her feet together. With the continual movement there was always fresh blood seeping from around the nail wound and dripping off the toes. Messaline had been abused several times in her time on the cross, many a finger had invaded her private parts.

Just then there was shouting and yelling intermingled with the crack of whips as an attachement of soldiers arrived with the body of Spartacus suspended from a wooden beam. He was groaning as his feet were dragged along the ground, his arms were roped to the beam and rusty iron nails were protruding from his wrists. He had been brutaly whipped, he was gagged and naked and his penis had been cut to ribbons. Messaline's eyes fell onto the body of her lover and she screamed loudly his name.

"Spartacus! what have they done to you my love!"she wailed.

Spartacus opened his eyes and broadly smiled and then he saw the naked stretched body of Marcia on her cross. He had a sudden surge of strength and sent two of the guards sprawling but two more seized his beam and spun him around thrusting him, face first, into a tree, Spartacus fell to his knees with blood dripping from the new wound in his forehead. He was held firmly against the tree and the beam raised and roped in place on the withered trunk. Spartacus was barely concious when his legs were lifted and the soles of his feet placed on two knots in the wood for support. He never saw the spikes being placed on his insteps but soon felt the points as they were remorsely driven through his bony feet. Then, their brave leader was fully on view, naked, bleeding and dying before their very eyes.

Once again they were together as a family.

The End

Mmmmm ! Wonderful story, william ! I appreciated and no doubt that , soon, I'll try to illustrate it ...

Once again they were together as a family.

You've the speciality of this kind of sentence and to close a story like this one, it's very astonishing and surprising ! But I like and ..... it's evident !:D

(PS: I'm only troubled when people are coming there to make comment which are not at all in the topic or making publicity for their own stories ...)

Nicely done, William. Good work with the characters - always good when your main character likes the portrayal. ;) The family aspect is a nice touch. It must have snarled up traffic on the Appian Way a bit, although with the artistic way the Italians drive, it might not have made that much difference. :D

I cant enlarge them ...

Concerning illustrations, alas I've not the time , in fact , to do more than these three'ones ... More, I lost my Corel PSP4 (they were deleted my license !) , so, I'm obliged to work with Paint.net and it's much longer for a result which is not so good ...
I post my three manips : if you want to do something with ....

1) "... "Well the count for today is about one hundred, so with the two hundred, we nailed up so far, well over Three hundred."

"We still didn't find that bastard Spartacus though, although I do believe, somewhere along here, they nailed up his girl Messaline."

"They say she is very beautiful," added Levicus, "although I don't know how she would have faired hanging from a cross, do you?"

"Come on, lets get going, we still have a way to go before we reach camp and a well earned drink."...

2) "... They edged nearer and noticed that this was a crux simplex, with no crossbeam, and the writhing woman being stretched and held down was none other than Messaline!..."

3) "... The soldiers had cut down the thick branch and had trimmed it into shape. They returned and began tying it, to the upright, with stout rope. the crown of thorns, interlaced with pretty blue flowers, was completed and brought over to the helpless naked woman. Quickly it was positioned on her scalp and pushed heavily down into her skin...."

Well done, Messa - these are excellent results for working in Paint!
I know how slow and labour-intensive photo manipulation can be in Paint, so I congratulate you on your hard work.
I hope your pictures can still be inserted, in the appropriate parts of the story thread?

Very good job, it enhances the story some what!

william23,

Bloody good show! Clearly this was an unplanned family reunion. Mother and daughter finally found something to share although both wish they hadn't, to be sure. Next reunion - no booking the Crossroads Inn - too many crosses along the road!
