I think that photo was taken in London, just after Barb hired a car to tour the city ...Only Messaline is yet staying into this apocalyptic landscape ; nailed to a cross, she's waiting a death which can come in some hours, even some days ...
PS I've been geekishly trying to locate where that street is. It's a very old photo, look at the buses. I tracked down the original and note the dome of St Paul's is visible in the distance - so it looks like The Strand or Fleet Street. I thought a certain well-known, up-market shoe and handbag shop would help me find it, but they don't seem to have a shop along there now, and none of their West End shops are the same as that one, even allowing for updates to the frontages.
