Yes they hear everything; what they don't hear, the snitches tell.
That's why I used to write everything in my secret diary.
I always place it in the same drawer but always put it at a slightly different angle; it seems random but isn't.
Recently it just hasn't been lying exactly as it should.
They've been reading and so they know anyway.
You know this, after so many years under this system we've all developed an instinct, a fine intuition that tells uns when we're under Special Observation.
