Thanks for the exclusive, Spike!

Coming soon - further developments in the story of contradictions, human nature and extraordinary events! :D

"Well Vassily, tell your masters in Moscow that Barbara Moore has done her best. Things didn't quite work out in Berlin as planned, I'll admit, but you can't win them all. I did my bit, and I want to go home now. So please ...."

My words were cut short by a cloth soaked in chloroform pressed tight against my face. I began to struggle, but a strong arm across my chest pinned me to the back of the seat. I felt immediately nauseous and my head spun.
If you ask me, it was a perfectly reasonable request. These guys never listen. Always with their own agendas.:eek::doh:

Excellent opening credits video, and a stirring start to the story. Certainly not a slow buildup. Straight into peril. It reminds me of a German movie from the 1960s, "Strafbattallion 999", which I saw at one point. Life in a penal battallion, with the odd "romantic" sub-plot. I expect that the peril in this story will be more graphically portrayed than in that movie.

Thanks very much, Jolly.

We're aiming for visceral, so let's hope we can deliver! :D

Basking in the success of Barbarossanova at this year’s 68th Berlinale, Barbara Moore and Alisa Kusinova are seen above clutching the ‘Best Film’ award.

Over budget and overdue, the premiere of the eagerly awaited Barbarinder production, 'Barbarossanova' has become the highlight of the 2018 Berlin Film Festival. Attending in person were leading members of the cast, who were in great demand by film critics and reporters. Barbara Moore was also joined by co-stars, Vassily Ilyasov and Klaus Erbe for photo calls and interviews.

The excitement of the occasion was palpable at this 68th Berlinale, in the year which sees the 70th anniversary of the Berlin Airlift. We asked Barbara Moore, 'How significant is this premiere to the city of Berlin, and how relevant is the story to the city's liberation, in view of the Soviet occupation which followed?'

She replied, 'Barbarossanova' is a story of contradictions, which reflects human nature and the way in which ordinary people are swept up in extraordinary events beyond their control. It is a celebration of the survival of the human will, and it is relevant, not only to Berlin, but to the rest of the world where similar conflicts are having the same effects today.’

There is no doubt that Barbarossanova has been extremely well received in Berlin, and we at the Crux Chronicle would like to congratulate Bobinder, Barb, and the team for the well-deserved acclaim that the film has seen in Berlin.

We hope that we’ll be seeing a great deal more of Barb in the future, though we note that audiences in Berlin have seen a great deal of her already!

Barbarossanova: a phenomenal new movie!

I love this concept Bob, very meta, it multiplies the levels on which we can connect to this story.

And what could be better than sitting outside on a pleasant night with a cold drink, convivial company, and a big screen showing Barb's tight little erm, showing your masterpiece!

:clapclap: Is that Caprice on the cover of "Life" magazine, too? It's gotta be one of the cutest shot of her ever!
Life magazine reappeared briefly for a special edition. :)
They rushed out their publication, unusually without an authentic cover picture, and had a stand-in model to pose for it.
I have no complaints - they published Barb's article and gave us good publicity! :D
