“Those didn’t” I asked.

“Sorry, Ms. Moore, they did not. It is only 30 more, however.”

He lashed at me and I winch and whine! I cannot take 29 more!!!

Sir Wragg, well aware that the fine print on the back of Barb’s ticket did not include flogging or scourging and aware how litigious Americans were had asked that Primus Pilus whip Barb so the marks would rapidly fade. Let’s look at Pp’s take of all this…

This woman is pleading for mercy. If only she knew how gentle I am being with here. I hope that no one gets the wrong idea… this could ruin my business!

Barb was thoroughly striped from neck to knees on her front side.

They began first unlatching her ankle cuffs. They helped Barb stand while her wrists were clipped to an eyebolt above her head until she steadied herself on her feet. Sir Wragg left the stage while Barb looked at her next destination- the cross on the other stage. Sir Wragg talked with an Oriental man named Mr. Wu handed Sir Wragg a thick envelope. He should a modicum of taste by not counting the money then and there. He picked up a microphone and told the audience “Ms. Moore’s crucifixion will be delayed a few moments as one of our benefactors has requested that Ms. Moore’s back be striped to match her front. Primus, are you up for this or are you tired?”

“Oh, I am fine” he replied.
