The Sophia Loren-Jayne Mansfield one is a fake, I've seen the original. But I must say that it is a really good fake. However the look on Sophia's face is there in the original photo.

By that point in her career Sophia didn't have to show anything but I understand early in her career she played a half naked harem girl in a movie called "He" or "Him". being an extra they didn't concentrate on her but she did survive the cutting room floor to make a topless appearance in the film.

The bad news: I was wrong. After years of believing the dark-haired naked lady was Jean Simmons....
She's not, she's a very close body-double.

The good news: the color shots and the kiss are Jean Simmons, but the others sadly aren't.

I remember her in a short lived American sitcom called "Nanny and the Professor," which one reviewer called "Mary Poppycock." She and Jack Lemmon got naked in "Avanti" shortly after the show ended; I rather liked her butt too. ;)

Gypsy Rose Lee was on American TV quiz shows (supposed to be more or less for general audiences) after she was done performing--needed the money, I guess. In one discussion of a question she came out with the following--not sure how the producers reacted: "I was once in Chicago wearing two Wilkie (ran against FDR in 1940) buttons and nothing else."

Bob Newhart once did a skit in which he was introduced to a Playboy Bunny, who recited by rote her publicist's line: "Babsie is studying to be a nuclear physikist (sic)".

IMHO it is always sexier to see an intelligent woman who knows exactly what's she doing trying to turn you on.
