is probably the oldest bare naked famous lady known by name. The painting by Gérôme below is the best known depiction of her escaping the death penalty by getting naked in court. So goes the legend.

Yes that's exactly who she is supposed to be

I think I actually got quite a good likeness here. Not perfect but very close. This was done using Facegen Artist Pro, which basically modifies the standard Genesis 3 figure based on an imported photograph. You basically load a photo and mark certain points on it and the software tweaks the head geometry of the default model to match, and then wraps the photo around the model. It works pretty well but it's far from perfect and really requires very good quality full-colour photos, front-on, perfectly-lit (soft flat lighting with no shadows), looking straight to camera and with closed mouth and a hairstyle that doesn't obscure any part of the face. Trying to find suiable photos online of sufficient quality is the real challenge - the actual 3D model generation process is simple and largely automated. I could probably improve the model with a few manual tweaks but right now I'm pretty happy with the way she looks as it is.

Again the usual issue of the 3D rendering engine wiping 30 years off the age of the subject has reared its head, but that's OK - when I did the 3D render of my mum it made her look 30 years younger and she loved it as a result then got it printed and framed - it now hangs on her bedroom wall

That said, it would be cool if these renders actually looked age-correct but that would involve highly detailed texture maps made from actual photos (So if Helen Mirren wants to come over to my place so that I can photograph every square inch of her naked body in high resolution, she is more than welcome )

I do have texture maps of older women installed but the real problem is that if I use those, the lighting and skintone would not match that on the face, as the face maps are derived from the imported base photo, which is a limiting factor with this process.
