Anya Chalotra in "The Witcher" (Season 1, Episode 3 / 2019) - IMDB

Yennefer (Chalotra) goes to see the magic beauty doctor. She is in a hurry, so she refuses any form of anesthesia. A bad mistake, since the procedure is not enjoyable at all.

As a fan of both the games (played all three of them) and the books (just finished "The Tower of the Swallow" the other day and now looking forward to complete the saga with "The Lady of the Lake"), I found the first season of the Netflix show to be really good in general. But as spectacular as this scene was, it was also the point where Yennefer's plot line jumped the shark for me.

I know that the books and the games are not really in canon either, but the Netflix Yennefer seemed like a completely different person. The problem the producers probably faced is that two out of three main characters (Yennefer and Ciri) only have very small roles in the first two books "The Last Wish" and "Sword of Destiny" that were adapted into the first season. And so they had to make something up for them, which did not really work for Yennefer in my opinion.
Well now I’m sorry I quit after one episode...

Britania Season 2 Episode 6

There isnt any gory scene but there is a dialogue that i found really hot...

In the first scene she is told that her sister is trying to decide her execution method, among the choices are: Flaying, Burning, Burried alive, Torn apart by dogs, Disembowelment.

To the next scene she is announced that at the third dawn she will be flayed alive and her body will be burned.

Unfortunatelly i couldnt find a video with this dialogue!
Thanks. I'm gonna have to check this out. I'm with you, sometimes the gory details are not needed; the suggestion and anticipation are enough.

I've watched a few episodes (including this one.) I never could buy Yennifer's misshapen appearance. It was just too obvious she's really a very attractive actress with a wad of packing in her mouth and a slouch, so I'm glad they decided to give her a makeover.

Some "teasers" from a movie called "Contrainte Par Corps," (literally "Constraint of the body," but from what I've gathered from various contexts the phrase is used in, I think it means more like "Imprisonement for debt.") It stars Marianne Basler. I haven't yet seen the movie. As I understand, a brutal policeman falls in lust with a young frenchwoman who is on vacation on a Mediterranean island. He harasses her and then arrests for "indecent exposure," or some such, then frames her for drugs. I'm assuming she's subjected to water torture as part of an interrogation, and then sent to prison.

"Sweet Country" is a 1987 movie about the military coup in Chile followed by the dictatorship of Pinochet. Eva (Carole Laure) is a Chilean who worked for Allende, and is arrested and subjected to torture, abuse, and humiliation along with many other suspected leftists. In this scene, a group of women are herded into an arena, told to strip naked, kneel with knees spread, and pleasure themselves. Eva and another woman stand up to protest and are knocked unconscious.

The movie, IMO, is not very good. It's marred by the level of overacting, which at times, becomes almost comical. Randy Quaid does a turn as a Chilean policeman that struck me as just plain goofy. The scene screencapped below becomes really weird also, when one of the guards, apparently the only one among them with a conscience, becomes so appalled at what they're doing that he has a emotional breakdown, pulls his gun, fires off a few rounds, and is hustled out by all of other guards and officers, leaving the naked women to rush about the arena in complete confusion.

"Bless You, Prison," is a 2002 Romanian movie based on the autobiographical novel of Nicoletta Grossu, an anti-communist activist and devout Christian. She was arrested by the secret police in Romania and spent four years in prison, without being charged with a crime. So the political opposite of Pinochet's Chile, but same result. Kinda reminds me of The Who's song, "Won't Get Fooled Again"--"Meet the new boss, same as the old boss."

Maria Ploae plays Nicoleta. In separate interrogations, she is subjected to bastinado and later to the parrot's perch. The acting is very realistic, and I've never seen a beating the way these guys deliver it (well, perhaps the whipping scene in "12 Years A Slave.) It is realistically brutal, to say the least.

bless you prison 5.PNGbless you prison 6.PNGbless you prison 7.PNGbless you prison 8.PNG 2d round. I couldn't show the actual impacts because they happen so fast that it's just a blur on screen cap. But the guy winds up and strikes her butt like a major leaguer hitting a homer. He hits her four or five times before she becomes unconscious.

I was able to watch the movie "Contrainte Par Corps," (among many others I've been searching for--thanks, Kuza!) which I had been eagerly aticipating since I thought the lead actor (Marianne Basler) is so hot. Here's some screencaps:

marianne basler5.PNGmarianne basler6.PNGmarianne basler8.PNGmarianne basler10.PNG Claire (Marianne Basler) is arrested for indecent exposure (but actually because she yelled at a guy she caught staring at her and her boyfriend as they were canoodling on the beach.) Turns out the guy is the local police commissioner. At the police station she refuses to sign the bullshit charges and is given an impromptu swimming lesson to encourage her to do so.

marianne basler12.PNG At the trial, the judges throw out the charges. She's free!

At least the guards there have PPE...

Sounds like some one I know...

Always love it when the exam gloves come out! :very_hot:

I love that scene as it perfectly matches my fantasies (except that he never ordered the girls to put their hands away from their crotches... but at least he ordered them to spread out to keep the social distancing, though).

I know, it's such a cliche! And of course, once the glove is on, the wearer snaps the latex against her wrist. And usually the camera will zoom in on the prisoner's panties, follow them to the floor as she removes them, and then cut back to the examiner's leering face. I guess it wouldn't be a cliche if it wasn't true.

Not quite perfect for me. At first, el Capitan says he's going to give them some gymnastic exercise, and that sounded like a great idea to me! I would've had them strip, space evenly, then start with jumping jacks, followed by mountain climbers, leg lifts, and squat thrusts. Instead, he has them start with crotch scratchers, which, while certainly an aerobic exercise, should not be done without a proper warm up first.

As I mentioned above, the scene becomes a bit bizarre, with one of the policemen having a mental breakdown and shooting his gun in the air. The other guards all rush him, and carry him out of the arena, leaving the women to run about in confusion. Then they start dropping to the floor. I'm not sure if the idea is they're being shot, but there's no evidence of that, and there's no guards to shoot them. I guess they're just dropping out of sheer exhaustion. Probably because they started with crotch scratchers. A few more screencaps of the scene:
