The "colorized" version may be the original. Printing in color was expensive in the 60s, so many magazines printed mostly or entirely black & white pictures even though the photos were on color film. Those photos might be in color in other magazines or sold as prints. Even Playboy centerfold pictorials featured B&W pictures with only the fold-out being in color.
This one looks like an original 1960s color photo and not a digitalized modern colorization.

My dad always used B/W film because he could develop it himself....
