Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.
The stake is thick and heat resistant. It's already damaged the woman inside, but it hasn't pierced her through yet. She's slowly slipping down and bleeding internally. But not a stake will kill her. While the heat from the flame makes the skin of her leg melt. But,
I think that eventually she will be completely engulfed in flames. And she will still be alive when that moment comes.
