Crucified males

The wonderful homoerotic Baroque Spanish sculptors of the 16th and 17th Centuries knew full well that Jesus was scourged and crucified stark naked. This piece is called "El Cristo de la Purpura".

It seems as if it weren't for display in sanctuaries, all modern artists seem to know and acknoledge that Jesus was stark naked during much of His Passion.

That was the reason to display him nude! As our time, or even more , peoples were obsessed with genitals and the Roman oriented Jews then tried to hide, or probably don't circumsized at all. In our time it was succesfully separated from its meaning.
 
Unfortunately the Forum has removed my part 2 photos because of posting too many photos in one day. I don't even post that often but I guess 5 too many. Apparently live photos use too much space. I had hoped my pictures would encourage more to hang on the cross as well. So as of today I will no longer be donating or supporting this site by posting pictures. My best to you all in your Crucifixions. King Yar
 
I suggest we watch a little bit of the guy's torture. It's certainly not a crucifixion, but still.

@king yar That's a bit overdramatic....you know the rules,and limitations as,well as others.
Even  I admit that the 5-a day limit is extremely frustrating, but it's there for a reason... as the Admins will tell you.
