I love defiantI was asked by @Anonymous if I had a nude version of this image. I did not. So I re-rendered the image without the loincloth. Then I though that I might as well give the result the AI treatment, for this is what I do these days. It ended with me skipping sport and playing around with this image until 2 am (10 minutes ago). But I like how it came out, the light, the landscape... And I gave her a different expression, exhausted but still a bit defiant. I hope you like this version.

Great idea! I also wanted to use the discussion thread for such a purpose, but it devolved into an ideological debate that few still follow. I will start a thread as suggested soon so we can all share our tips and workflows.I still owe @tan2000 the illustrated description of the workflow. I thought, if other people are also interested it might be an idea to start an ideology-free "AI howto" thread in the "Technical Questions" subforum, as was suggested, I think by @fallenmystic, in the (not so ideology-free) "Discussions about AI" battleground thread. Should we do that?
Your remake is really great - I'd very like if you'd do more remakes of Quoom's crucifixions!Thank you for so much feedback and so many good comments! There even is a spinoff version of the picture in @xz7fan's phantastic thread. I would also like to really thank @Cella for her wonderful story for my last image!
I am afraid not. @Aluafaen's other images are so full of actors that I just cannot hope to work with them using my cumbersome AI approach.
Some time ago, @tan2000 also asked me for a workflow for my images. I suggested that I would process a picture and explain the individual steps. He choose a picture from Quoom's "Barbarian Queen" series:

First I thought that I would not be able to make anything out of that picture, because it is actually rather crowded with hands, feet, partial actors, and there are other things wrong with it (like the sleeve of the right guy, and the left guy seems to have a lumbago). But I really liked her pose, and Quoom had a keen eye for camera angles. So I decided to cut realism and remove all the partially visible actors that help to pull up the crucified Barbarian Queen. I hope you (and Quoom, wherever he is now) will forgive me.

Thank you for fulfilling my request, I really appreciated your effort and time for this! The Ornament of Triumph (later remade to Barbarian Queen) by Quoom truly a very classic series from 20+ years ago and I believe this series inspiring lots of people in here (including me) and I'm interest to how give this series a new life with AI.Some time ago, @tan2000 also asked me for a workflow for my images. Yeah Quoom classic art works considered way more advance at that time. Even though now it looks outdated, but I still like to re watch his works. Many years ago Quoom's series of crucifictions as Queen Barbaria, Last Emperess ( something like that ) converted me to cross "devotion". I think that before looking at his work I was not attracted by this weird, but sublime, kink fantasy.
Wow looks like you've use that GPU ever since AOD period I suppose lol. I also have poor GPU for AI so I'm thinking of using Mimic PC for AI workload.Thank you for the offer, I am definitely interested, even if that will imply a (long overdue) upgrade of my system: my poor GTX1050 has already shown its intrinsic limitations when dealing with stable diffusion. Also, AI imaging is a rather complex matter, and it's hard to explore it with proper guidance.
BTW, I love how you managed to improve that old Quoom image.

Oh I tought you're using it since AOD. At that time your images already looks great, the same level with Arcas. Yeah it's more private with offline but sadly you need GPU with more VRAM (16GB or above).LOL, I bought it 3 years ago.. then at a certain point I completely lost interest in making 3D pictures. About AI, I aim at using a totally offline solution.

Jucundus, the image created by Aluafaen is stunning, the one obtained through your modifications borders on perfection! Here is a different challenge. @Aluafaen asked me if I could rework one of her 3d images with AI. I guess you know @Aluafaen's 3d work, it is really outstanding in terms of poses textures, camera angles etc. The image I got is a rather simple one, which is good for AI. Here a small version, the size I used as a template:

It took maybe 10-15 hours to transform it into this picture. It is different in many aspects, like I added a background, changed the skin tone and facial expression. Actually, the background looks a bit fake, I tried hard, but I am just not able yet to really match it to the foreground. Also, I could have made it more bloody, but the original isn't either.

Still, it is immediately clear where it comes from. And it is also clear that AI generations really profit from a high quality template. Thank you, @Aluafaen, that was an interesting project, and a lot of fun. (What does "Dea" mean, by the way, "Goddess"...?)

You can be as defiant as you like. It will simply amuse us, as we watch you suffer!Strip me, whip me, and nail me to the cross. I’ll scream and holler and scream some more, but I’ll remain defiant until the end
