Just to alert those it might concern - links to and/or shared content from darkfetish.net on the Forums have been triggering Malwarebytes warnings indicating that site is compromised, i.e. hacked by potentially malign agents that may infect those who follow the links or visit the site with malware.

Have been seeing that as well with Malwarebytes last few days. Wondering if site admins know or if corrective action will be taken.

Thank you ❤️

Indeed it has been, at least on our site - and it's useful to know that you've been getting similar warnings. Slashercomixxx thread in 'Links to Paysites', where such warnings were being triggered, has been removed from general view, at least until we're sure it's 'clean'. Meanwhile, please let us know if you get any warnings elsewhere on the site.

I think the current problem is rather a SSL misconfiguration, but I agree: As long as malwarebytes doesn't like the site (and there can be false positives), I rather suggest to stay away.

Yes, Malwarebytes Premium is ultra-protective. But recent posts in this thread suggest the DF site is moribund, maybe not being regularly managed, and that can make it vulnerable to hacking and infections.

Sunday, I got strange warnings after closing CF and I wanted to access other sites, that there had been 'unusual activity' on my server, and I was asked to confirm I was a human.

Got already ransomware on DarkFetish more than 10 years ago. Fortunately without harm, as it could be isolated and neutralised. I stay away from there, since!

I don't think we've heard of such things happening to other members. Possibly some spyware detected trying to get into your system? When things like that happen, I run all the scans I've got, and check for any unrecognised stuff in the controls, just to make sure it's all okay.

I don't recall the details anymore. It happened early 2013, when DarkFetish was in a crisis (which had to do partly with the 'Cannibal Cop' affair, and also by the fact that anything, how gore it was, was allowed). I cliked on a pic to enlarge it, as I had already done tens of times, and suddenly it popped up, and trying to close it had just the opposite effect, it blocked everything. However, just one account was infected. The old desktop on which it happened, was due for retirement anyway.

Nasty - but I was actually referring to your more recent odd experience, the mysterious message after you logged out from CF.

It was specifically one newspaper site that blocked my access, until I confirmed I was a 'human'. I thought it was a whim of that site's security. Only when reading about malware reports on CF, I thought, there could have been a link between both events. But I am never sure.:icon_pc:

After all, some 2-3 times per year, my access to CF is blocked when I try to log in, because the site is suddenly marked as 'unsafe'. All I have to do then iw wait a minute, try again, and then I can log in without problems.:comp4:

yes, for some reason, the 'https' prefix gets missed - I think it can take a few microseconds to load properly, and that can make the site look unsafe to sensitive firewalls - but, as you say, reloading generally gets it through.
