Practice and careful encouragement to develop the symmetry of co-ordination in tandem. Though it would be even better to see a pair of dark-haired ponies displaying that synchronicity, their matched tight little rears dancing to the whip's encouragement.

And if they don't get it right there is still the gravel training path to punish their bare feet...

yes, I enjoy the dressage scenes more than the pics that are just girls in harness -
like most bondage pics, they're more fun when they're actually doing something -
or having something done to them. The pair in that image are promising,
though not perfectly synchronised (compare their feet),
they'll need more whip-flicking.

Nice example of a "heavy ponygirl" at work TC with what seem like good straight furrows. Like our Shire breeds the "heavy" ponygirl requires different handling and tack to the more highly-strung show ponies.
