Execution Reports

((Woo it's been a busy month and a half, but here's another execution with Possum to help me get back into the swing of things! This one was a fun one as I had some time to play around with the environment and lighting.)

TO: Office of the Primus Pilus
FROM: Centurion Marcus Aeneas
SUBJECT: Dealing with thieves

Salutations Primus Pilus Martinus,

The gang of thieves that we found breaking into the garrison storehouse two weeks ago has been finally dealt with. As ordered we crucified them along the road leading to the main gate of the city as a warning to those who would try to steal from the Legions. Their leader in particular was quite vocal about her death sentence, claiming that all she was doing was trying to abate her hunger by stealing food even though when we caught her she was in the armory. Since she was the ringleader of this band of theives I decided to make sure that she was singled out for additional torment, including the addition of a crown of thorns as a coloslation prize for her raid going so terribly. She was of a weaker constitution than the others though, passing away during the night.

Hopefully they will set an example and we will not see any more thefts from the Legion.

Very respectfully,

Centurion Marcus Aeneas
Pics came out great sweetie :) was a fun session and it's nice to play around with environment settings to capture a mood! kisses

(Happy New Year everyone! We're starting things off with an execution from last year that I didn't manage to get posted in time due to the holiday schedule.)

Sextilis 8th, 12th Year

TO: Office of the Primus Pilus
FROM: Centurion Marcus Aeneas
SUBJECT: Cutting off the head

Salutations Primus Pilus Martinus,

We finally managed to track down and arrest that rebel slave that had been agitating the workers in the mines trying to organize a revolt. Further interrogation revealed that she was acting alone, so our fears about an outside conspiracy seem to have been unfounded. Rest assured though, I shall order my men to stay vigilant if it turns out this one was more resilient than we thought (though I doubt it given how broken she was by the time we nailed her to the cross). I made sure to allow the men to have plenty of fun with her after she was broken and confessed everything to the torturers, and while this might have contributed to her passing away within the afternoon I still believe a message was sent to the slave population.

For the Empire,

Centurion Marcus Aeneas
