Being a ship’s figurehead is all work, work, work!

It’s a very nice thread, really opened my eyes to this particular kink. If you’re running out of pictures, don’t worry, the thread will still be here if and when you come back with more! That is my problem, I look a lot of in internet, but real good figurehead i do not find. I think, this theme ist finish in 1 or 2 month. Then I look for another tread, for my pictures.
Thanks for your compliments, E-DF. I recognised Liz, and knowing that you had worked with her, I thought the rigging bears your hallmark. Thanks Bob! Sirenabonita is a good friend of mine from DA. He is still on there. He used many of my photos to create his wonderful art. Models besides Liz included Lily, Floofie, Chelsea Christian (Mordsith Cara), and many others. Your memory and ability to locate work in your archives always amazes me.
Work of 'Fidus', aka Hugo Reinhold Karl Johann Höppener, an interesting, though sadly muddle-headed artist who embraced Nazism but was rejected by the party as 'degenerate'. Part of the weird mixture of naturism, Theosophy, paganism, romantic notions about blood and soil and getting back in touch with nature etc. that were so popular in Germany (and much of the West) in the 1920s but turned toxic. I'm not sure about the ballad at the bottom, can't make out the 'poet's' name in its German script nor track the first line via Google.
Thanks for your research. Unfortunately, I could not clearly decipher the name under the poem either [Franz Lamprechts.....]?Work of 'Fidus', aka Hugo Reinhold Karl Johann Höppener, an interesting, though sadly muddle-headed artist who embraced Nazism but was rejected by the party as 'degenerate'.
