Gregora tried to send a message to her army about what the invading army was planning and how many weapons and troops they had. Unfortunately Gregora was caught and since she was wearing civilian close, her captors determined she was a spy and sentenced her to be hanged to death. She stood naked on the gallows wearing only the cuffs binding her hands behind her back. The commander took the time to pull the hood over her head and tighten the noose around her neck. Gregora whimpered she had to pee. The commander said "Do it now or after you are hanged. It makes no difference to me..."

Sorry, I’m a girl we always have to pee at the most inconvenient times. Well let me pop a squat, uhh pardon me but this noose thing is kind of in the way. Would you mind loosing or removing it for me. I’d appreciate it. Makes peeing easier. What?!!! What do you mean no.

I made a collage of photos showing the facial expressions of 20 young women (paid models) being hanged. These are all stills from "Cruel World" videos. All of the women are just a few seconds into a suspension hanging. If you have seen these videos you know that these women actually are being hanged by the neck for up to half a minute or so. After hanging, sometimes to unconsciousness and the onset of convulsions, they are let down, and recover.
The facial expressions are really interesting and run the gauntlet of terror, surprise (that it hurts so much?), and resignation. None of the women appear to be enjoying the experience. Note also, how far up the neck the rope rides, how the neck, in many cases, is stretched, and how the head always tilts away from the knot. Most "movie hangings" get all of these things wrong. Hopefully, this study may help artists more accurately depicting hangings.

A good neck stretch is always appealing unless it is just strangulation Torture with the noose placed behind the victim’s head.
In these instances it was to be incorporated into the strappado so that the cunts were forced to choke themselves as their arms weakened and sankd slowly downward.

Post work is a no go for me (unless it’s small things like poke throug’s). For me it defeats a big part of what 3D offers. That is having everything within the scene and being able to pose it and then setting the camera from which ever angle you like. In that way there’s consistency from image to image.

At some point I considered doing my own noose prop, but I found that what was already available was good enough. I mainly use a noose prop from Davo (renderotica). It’s not at all perfect, but it’s close enough. It’s fairly easy to pose and I only change the texture and use it conjunction with a DazStudio D-former function to emulate the pressure of the noose.

Mobius at tds has combined a steel ring with a poseable piece of rope to make his own noose. And I actually think he did a good job at that.

For the loop itself I use regular rope from Daz props. This rope has many degrees of freedom. The advantage of this is that you can tighten the rope around the neck so it will seem realistic to you. The disadvantage of this solution is that such a process takes a lot of time.
